The first flip-up I have ever owned with chin room . . .

I recently upgraded from my Nolan N103 to the N104, and was very happy to find that for the first time since buying flip-ups my chin was not in contact with the front of the helmet. As promised, the field of vision is much better than the previous model as well. The fit was much the same . . .and using the same size as the previous model seems to have paid off for me. The wind noise typical for modular helmets . . .more noticeable than with full face. I found the installation of the new B4 to be predictably difficult, but no more so than with the NCom on the N103. They actually improved the designs of both the helmet and com system and they are more solidly mated than in the past. I have not yet had a chance to try the B4 on the road and will update with a comparison in a few weeks after riding with my favorite passenger.

The N104 is a huge step in the right direction for Nolan . . .prices vary substantially, so do your shopping carefully before clicking the "purchase" button.
