Light And Moves Air

This helmet is as advertised. It's light weight and moves a lot of air. I went out on a cool day and had to close the top air vents because my head was cold. As for the chin vent, while riding I flipped the switch in both directions and couldn't tell which way was open and which was closed. There was no noticeable difference. Maybe it makes a difference with fogging but I haven't noticed since I just keep it open now.

The interior padding is comfortable. I have a thin face and the cheek pads were pretty tight at first but after a few uses I can feel it loosening up. A little tightness makes me feel safe. I had a medium plain old HJC CL15 before this and it had a pressure point on my forehead. This helmet is much more comfortable with no pressure points. It fits tighter than the CL15 but it's comfortable.

I read a review somewhere that complained that the center mounted visor clip could be a distraction, especially if you ride with the visor cracked o pen. I disagree. You would have to ride with the visor half way open before this thing would get in the way and at that point you may as well remove the visor. I like that it's center mounted. Side mounted tabs cause the visor to twist and flex when you pull it up. The center mounted clip alleviates this problem and it fastens the visor to the helmet tightly.

This is my first helmet with the plastic nose piece for fog prevention. I had to remove it. While riding one day I had a bad itch on my nose and couldn't scratch it without pulling over and taking my helmet off. I don't notice any difference in fogging.
